Speaking on Sunday in Kibera's Laini Saba area, Mudavadi said that if he joins hands with Cord co-principals led by Raila Odinga, they will form a government that will ensure all Kenyans get good leadership.

"Working with Raila Odinga is not a problem as our political enemies are saying. What we need as Kenyans is to unite and form a government that will ensure every citizen benefits from leadership. In 2017, I am ready to join hands with Cord without any doubt," he said.

He accused Jubilee government of failing to deliver quality leadership to the people.

"The current government has failed to fight corruption,  insecurity has been on the rise. Kenyans must worry such bad relationship and in 2017, good leaders should be voted to run the country. Any country with hard economic status becomes hard for development," said the ANC leader.
