Nakuru Town West MP Samuel Arama has defended his continued support of the Jubilee government despite belonging to the ODM Party that sponsored him to Parliament.
Arama has said that so far he has no regrets over his support for the government while telling-off those who have been criss-crossing his constituency demanding for his resignation on claims that he has been supporting Jubilee Alliance party.
"When I go to State House, where I am a regular visitor, I do not go there for anything else apart from seeing how I can develop my constituency,” said Arama when addressing a public gathering in his constituency on Tuesday.
The MP said that partisan politics will not take the country anywhere and asked his colleagues to emulate him to ensure many development projects in their areas a success.
"There is no MP in Kenya representing an area called ODM; we are all Members of Parliament and working in unity to take the country forward should be our main agenda, and that is exactly what I am doing,” added Arama.
He noted that in the previous Parliament there was no opposition as rival parties came together and formed a unity government.
