I want to state categorically that I am still in the race," Buzeki told the press in Eldoret town, Monday."If I did not step down during nominations why should I do it when elections are just hours away," he added.Buzeki blamed his competitor  governor Jackson Mandago for spreading propaganda over his candidature."Instead of my competition telling the electorates what he will do for them he has been spreading propaganda about me."He urged his supporters to come out in large numbers and vote him as the governor.There has been reports on social media platforms claiming that Buzeki had stepped  stepped down in favor of Mandago.
