Kisii County Deputy governor Joash Maangi has denied allegations that he has decamped Ongwae’s side and instead he is still working closely with him.
According to Maangi in the recent past, there has been reports in media section that Ongwae was looking forward to relining up his team but he said in his case he is the county deputy governor and he has not made any move.
Speaking on Wednesday at Bobasi Chache ward during a burial, Maangi said he focusing on ensuring that they deliver the promises they had pledged back in 2013 before focusing in the upcoming election which seems to be brewing up.
“I am working with the current governor closely and so far am looking to ensure we get the county where its suppose to be for that is why we were elected,” he added.
Maangi called upon area leaders to stop politicking the ‘Omogusii Unity’ and said it was tabled to ensure the community has one voice.
