Kabogo was listed among the bottom ten governors who have used their development funds for non-development projects.

The report placed Kiambu County at the bottom, a clear indication that the governor was not doing devolution justice.

Kabogo said that he has put the county funds into maximum use and no one will threaten him with un-authoritative reports. He said he can account for the usage since even county officials are aware of the projects initiated by the funds.

The county boss has called on the Kiambu people to turn a deaf ear to the reports which, according to him, are meant to jeopardise the county and the unity of the residents.

He stated that he will not relent in delivering the services he is mandated to deliver to and he will never appear before anyone to answer on how he used the funds as the Kiambu assembly monitors him.

“I will not be threatened by anyone distracting my work. I am the boss in Kiambu and I will not answer to anyone as the development projects are there to prove my hard work,” Kabogo said.

He added, “I want the Commission for Revenue Allocation (CRA) to add the amount being allocated to my county as the population has increased and the climate is wanting. We need the residents to get enough relief food in the next financial year.”

The governor was speaking in his county when he attended a church service at the Juja Christian church International.
