The United Democratic Movement (UDM) presidential candidate Philip Murgor has refuted claims that he has joined the National Super Alliance (NASA).
According to Murgor, his presence in Bomet during the first NASA rally was due to the invite he received from county Governor Isaac Ruto and nothing else.
"I have not joined NASA. My presence in Bomet on Saturday was because I was invited by my good friend, Isaac Ruto. My presence there should thus not be misinterpreted that I have joined NASA," said Murgor.
However, the former Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) said his UDM party was not locked out negotiations to join any political coalition.
"My presidential ambition does not lock out my party from joining any political coalition. However, the time is not yet ripe for us to join any coalition," added Murgor.
Murgor made the remarks during an interview on Radio Maisha on Monday where he called on Kenyans to vote for him come August elections saying he had great plans for the country.
