Former AFC Leopards winger Allan Kateregga has refuted claims that he has ditched his new side KCCA of Kampala for a South African club.
This comes just days after the wing master was seen posing for a photo with former Bafana Bafana captain Benni McCarthy.
"Allan Kateregga has joined Cape Town City on a three-year deal," reports from Uganda said.
But in a Facebook post, Kateregga said that he had only posed for a photo with the Cape Town City coach.
"Yaani mtu akisimama tu na mtu muingine... Amemsign?" he posted.
Translation: "Does it mean that when someone stands with another, he has signed him?"
Kateregga left Leopards on a loan deal to KCCA after he fell out with his coach Robert Matano over indiscipline.
