Deputy President William Ruto has denied claims that he neglected a child who he reportedly sired out of wedlock, barely an hour after a he was sued by his alleged Ex-lover.
Through her lawyer Gitobu Imanyara, Ms Prisca Chebet demanded that the DP takes care of 11-years old Abby.
Chebet further claims that the DP stopped sending her money after he was elected alongside President Uhuru Kenyatta unless when threatened with a court action.
And in a quick rejoinder on his Twitter handle, Ruto claimed that he has been in touch with the plaintiff and suspected hands of unnamed politicians.
"My 11-years old child Abby is well catered for including her education in a private boarding school. Politicians and busy bodies should keep off," read the tweet.
In her suit filed at Milimani Law Courts on Thursday, Chebet wants the court to compel Ruto to support the minor.
