Ndeti says her differences with the Maendeleo Chap Chap Governor is purely politics.

Speaking in an interview on KTN's Tonight Show hosted by Comedian Dr  Ofweneke on Thursday evening, Ndeti said she is a friend to the Governor.

"My differences with Governor  Mutua is purely politics and people should stop equating our differences to be personal," Ndeti said.

Ndeti said she is only opposed to Mutua's style of leadership , claiming that the governor has failed the Machakos people.

She said there is nothing to celebrate about Mutua's leadership.

"Governor Mutua is a big let down to Machakos people and that is why I will be lodging an appeal to fight the High court ruling that upheld his reelection," the former Chama Cha Uzalendo (CCU) party leader said.

Ndeti at the same time ruled out partnering or working with Mutua's administration.

She dismissed claims that she will quit politics should the court of appeal dismiss her appeal.

Ndeti asked her supporters to remain firm and support her quest for electoral justice.

Governor Mutua has been asking Ndeti to work with his administration for the sake of development in Machakos.

Mutua states that he has no ill feelings against the former lawmaker, noting that politics is just a game where there is a winner and a loser.

Political analysts argue that it will be better for Wavinya Ndeti to work with Mutua so that she can take over from him in 2022.

Governor Mutua is serving his second and final term as succession politics on who  could  succeed him in 2022 already playing out.
