ODM deputy party leader Hassan Joho has vowed to face President Uhuru Kenyatta and ask him questions concerning the country during the official commissioning of the Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) project.

Uhuru is expected to unveil the SGR, Wednesday, in Mombasa county.

Speaking during the National Super Alliance (Nasa) rally in Donholm, Nairobi, Sunday, the Mombasa governor said he will ask the president where he took Kenyans’ money.

“I will stand in front of the president’s podium if allowed and ask him where he has taken our money. He should tell us also why he sold the port of Mombasa to Arab tycoons,” said Joho as quoted by one of the local dailies.

“In Mombasa we are drinking tea but we have no sugar or milk, he should not lie to us, we want to know when the price of foodstuffs is going down in this country,” he added.

Uhuru and Joho have lately not been in good terms.
