Malindi Parliamentary hopeful Philip Charo has asked his fiercest rival Aisha Jumwa to brace up for a titanic battle on August 8.
Charo said he will send Jumwa to early political retirement, because he has the numbers to win the seat.Charo claimed that Jumwa is not fit to contest for the seat, stating that she has failed to deliver on her mandate as Kilifi Woman Representative.“Aisha Jumwa should prepare for a serious political storm that will sweep her out of politics on August 8,” said Charo as quoted by the Standard. The Jubilee candidate urged locals to endorse his bid, saying he has the solution to their problems.Charo pledged to initiate development programmes that will create job opportunities for the youth and empower locals economically.Meanwhile, the MP hopeful has warned the National Super Alliance (NASA) leaders against spreading propaganda about the Jubilee administration, urging them to instead engage rivals on issues.Charo claimed NASA is using propaganda to confuse Kenyans and discredit Jubilee in a bid to gain political mileage ahead of the August polls. He said NASA will not win the August 8 polls because the Raila Odinga-led alliance has no agenda for the country.“It is shameful for the opposition to campaign on propaganda and smear campaigns instead of engaging Kenyans on agenda-based issues,” he said. The Jubilee MP hopeful asked Kenyans to reject politicians who have no meaningful, realistic and workable development agendas.
