Githunguri MP Njoroge Baiya has refuted claims that he has joined the Cord coalition.
Speaking at Githunguri Primary school during a fundraising function of building teachers quarters, Njoroge said he is in Jubilee to stay.
"I want to refute propaganda by those by my opponents that I have joined Cord. I will not dare join. I am in Jubilee to stay," said Njoroge.
Njoroge urged the politicians in the region to join Jubilee as it is the only party which has the destiny.
"Jubilee is working to unite all Kenyans. This is the only party in the country which is committed to fighting tribalism in our country," he added.
The legislator contributed Sh50,000 and a total of Ksh500,000 was raised in the function.
