East Africa Legislative Assembly MP Joseph Kiangoi has denied media reports that he has quit the ODM.
Kiangoi who was nominated by ODM to EALA, said Friday he was still a party member and those insinuating that he had jumped ship were wrong.
"I have not tendered in my resignation as a member of the ODM and I will continue serving and representing the party at the EALA until the end of my term," he said.
At the same time he welcomed the proposed unity of the Gisii community ahead of next year's general election.
He denied rubbishing the unity initiative spearheaded by Kisii Senator Chris Obure saying even Nyamira political leaders will follow suit.
"We want a structured method of spearheading this unity so that we may have a political unified force that will a say in the next general elections," he said.
