Education Cabinet Secretary Dr Fred Matiang'i says he keeps his family affairs, private.

During an interview on one of the local television stations, Sunday, the CS who has been a man of the people after taking over the docket by transforming the Education sector in the Country, said he does not put in public, anything related to his family.

"My family life, issues and affairs remain private. And they will remain private because that's how I want. I wouldn't want to boast of one or two things about my family because I'm only but a civil servant, not a politician or anything. I respect my family and I respect what they want,'' Matiang'i said.

He noted that alongside his wife, he does everything a family requires, plays a husbandry, and fatherly role. According to him, his current job does not hinder him from doing anything he used to do before he was appointed to the Cabinet.

"My wife sends me to the supermarket, I go, bring her what she wants. Nothing has changed, different from what I used to do before the president gave me this job. I enjoy my job, I enjoy being with my family,'' he said.
