Meru Senator Kiraitu Murungi has slammed Governor Peter Munya for giving him an Ajua game.
Speaking on Wednesday at a meeting in Mariene, Central Imenti, Kiraitu said Munya should now respect him because he is the one who mentored him (Munya).
“I am the one who taught Munya when he was a law intern. I admitted him in my law firm,” Kiraitu said.
“He is also like my in-law because he has married in our village, and he definitely knew her because of me. And I even attended his dowry ceremony and supported him.”
He added that he is surprised at how arrogant the governor has become despite campaigning for him in 2013.
“He cannot pick my calls. I recently heard he brought me an Ajua game. This world has many things, I will not get annoyed, I leave it all to God,” the senator said.
