The CORD opposition leader, Raila Odinga has allayed fears that he might be the next victim following the brutal murder of Juma Jacob.
Raila said that he now fears for his life after Juma was murdered in Nairobi with speculations emerging that it could have been pioneered by powerful politicians in the Jubilee government.
Speaking on Sunday at the Lee Funeral Home where he led mourners to view the slain body of Juma, Raila said that he was in utter shock on how a person could have seven bullets lodged in his head. He termed the killings as having been politically instigated just like earlier extrajudicial killings that are still to be made public to Kenyans.
‘‘This is an act of extrajudicial murder. I am in a state of utter shock, disbelief and despair. They have eradicated my friend by spraying bullets, and I am even worried for myself,’' said Raila.
Raila termed the murder as a big blow to all like-minded Kenyans who are committed to unravelling rampant corruption in government.
