After Kenyans named him 'Man of the Year 2016', Education Cabinet Secretary Dr Fred Matiang'i has revealed what drives him.
The CS who has been a man of the people after taking over the docket by transforming the Education sector in the Country, said he has only two ambitions in life.
"My first ambition is to serve God. Anything I do, anything I say, I want to do it for my creator. I want to do what God created me to do for Him. Nobody knows about tomorrow and it is always better to do good, in line with what God wants,'' he said, Sunday.
During an interview on one of the local television stations, Matiang'i noted that his second ambition is to honour the president.
"I work to honour the president. He gave me this job to serve Kenyans and I can not let him down. I serve Kenyans in this capacity because of the president. If it were not for him, nobody would have known me and Kenyans would have missed a lot. So I have no reason to go against the president's expectations from me,'' he said.
