Former Gem Jakoyo Midiwo has said that he has a contrary opinion regarding the swearing-in of NASA leader Raila Odinga and his running mate Kalonzo Musyoka.
While speaking in a talk show on NTV on Tuesday, Jakoyo said he would rather approach a non-violent move that involves a dialogue between Odinga and President Uhuru Kenyatta.
"I am of a different opinion. I would talk to Uhuru directly to stop the shenanigans, to stop the sideshows. To put all and sundry together and see how we can move forward," said Midiwo.
"All of us must sit down and say what is right for this country," he added.
However, Midiwo urged the government not to take lightly Odinga's quest to inaugurate himself and Kalonzo but ensure they listen to him.
"This war cry that nothing will happen on January 30 you will find yourself in a hole you can't get yourself out," he said.
