The Nyaribari Chache MP said that he is aware of his opponents who are doing rounds in the constituency to spoil his name that he has no respect for the people who voted him.

"My opponents are fighting me back that I lack respect for my people. They will be surprised when I will win in 2017. Personally, I have the respect to my people," said Tong'i.

"Each weekend I am always with my people discussing development in the constituency, how comes now opponents are claiming that I have no respect for my people," posed Tong'i.

He argued that all the development projects in the constituency have been achieved due to the consultation with the constituents.

"I am focused to change the lives of people in Nyaribari Chache. Good roads, health centers, schools are my main agenda. Let opponents give me humble time to work since elections are several months away," he added.
