Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant Miguna Miguna has declared on national television that he has the uttermost respect for women.
Miguna was speaking during a live television interview on K24 TV show up close and personal, when the question of his respect for women arose.
The former Raila Odinga aide revealed his childhood upbringing saying that his respect for women started from tender age since he was raised by a single mother.
"Miguna happens to have been raised by a single woman, my father died when my mother was pregnant and I am the last born so all I have known throughout my life if you read all my books the only person I dedicate all my books to is my mother," said Miguna.
"All these things people talk about, Miguna is abrasive, speaks the truth, Miguna is courageous all this is because of my mother, she is the one who imparted this in me," added Miguna.
"I respect women more than you can ever imagine, some of my friends are more feminist than some of these hypocrites make noise on TV. These hypocrites use the female agenda just to make money," added Miguna.
The sentiments come after a social media debate ensued questioning Miguna's respect for women after he was caught on camera putting in disrepute the image of fellow gubernatorial aspirant Esther Passaris on Jeff Koinage Live show on KTN.
