Cord co-principal Kalonzo Musyoka has declared that he will run for President come 2017.
The Wiper Democratic Movement Party leader told Raila Odinga and Moses Wetangula to give him the Cord ticket to face President Uhuru Kenyatta.
The former vice president told Raila to sacrifice his ambitions the way others had done for him in previous elections.
“I have sacrificed a lot all the time and others should also sacrifice now. Things will change under my leadership," he said on Thursday during a rally in Tana River County.
There has been anxiety on who will be Cord’s presidential flagbearer.
The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) led by Raila had declared that the former Prime Minister will be the party’s presidential candidate.
Bungoma Senator and Cord co-principal Wetangula also launched his presidential bid in April this year.
