Rongai MP Raymond Moi has declared that he will support President Uhuru Kenyatta re-election bid in next year's polls.
Moi however said that, although he will support Uhuru, he will not join Jubilee party and he is focused on strengthening KANU ahead of 2017 general elections.
Moi noted that Kanu is prepared to approach next year’s elections boldly and soberly, adding that no one will be able to convince the party to dissolve.
Moi expressed confidence that President Uhuru Kenyatta will be re-elected adding that his support for him is unquestionable.
"I suppport Uhuru's presidential bid, but I remain a loyal member of KANU. Kanu will never dissolve to join another party," he told journalists on Monday in Nairobi.
"My support for him (President Uhuru) is unquestionable and I am confident he will retain his seat," he added.
Moi said he was focused on retaining his seat as the Rongai Member of Parliament.
The MP alongside Kuresoi North MP Moses Cheboi are the only Kanu elected MPs in Nakuru county.
