The flavor of ruling the capital city seems to be too sweet to be approached decently. The city top seat has made outspoken senator Sonko to swear by his deceased parents never to support his Jubilee compatriot Peter Kenneth.
Each and every answer that senator Sonko gave during his Sunday’s 19, interview on a local television showed the heat in Jubilee.
Sonko vowed never to support PK and also confirmed his permanency in Jubilee. He said he will not defect and make sure that Peter Kenneth feels what they felt when boot licking him (PK) to support president Uhuru Kenyatta.
The 2013 presidential candidate opposed Uhuru Kenyatta and went it solo and lost. According to Sonko, Kenneth needs to make a public apology to Uhuru Kenyatta, Mama Ngina Kenyatta, Jubilee (formerly TNA) supporters and even Mbuvi’s family among other people.
The senator became personal and started calling his competitor a chewing gum. Mbuvi advised Kirinyaga residents and all interested parties to field someone else apart from PK.
He gave them examples which included the Equity Bank CEO. The sitting senator said he does not have a problem working with anybody to oust Dr. Evans Kidero but preference should not be based on tribal affiliations.
