Kisii county Senator Chris Obure has said he want to leave Kisii community united when he retires from active politics.
According to Obure, his aim is to unite Kisii community before he retires from active politics so that the community can get respect in the national politics.
Addressing residents on Sunday at Gesero secondary school in Bochari constituency during a school fundraiser, Obure said Omogusii unity movement has come to unite and not helping others get elective posts in the county.
“I am almost leaving politics according to my age but I need to unite Kisii community before I retire that is why we have come up with Omogusii movement," said Obure.
“Omogusii unity movement is not a benefits scheme for other leaders to get elective posts and is not for fighting others politically but to unite,” added Obure.
Is alleged that Senor Obure might retire from active politics come 2022 after contesting for gubernatorial seat in Kisii county 2017.
