Speaking on Radio Jambo Thursday evening, the former Nairobi senatorial aspirant recalled cautioning Nairobians against electing Governor Mike Sonko in the concluded poll period.

He recalled warning the voters of Sonko's incompetence, noting that they are set for more should they repeat a similar mistake in the forthcoming 2022 polls.

"The main problem ailing the nation is our inability to pick the right leaders. I remember warning Kenyans in Nairobi against Mike Sonko but they ignored me but are now complaining of poor leadership," said the youthful leader who preferred former governor Evans Kidero.

"It is sad that despite earlier warnings they went ahead to choose a poor leadership over the good and promising administration, hence their ongoing sufferings as a result of poor and unworthy services," he added.

This comes at a time when Sonko, who is also involved in a supremacy battle with top ruling Jubilee Party officials, has been ranked the last one among the governors in charge of the 3 cities of Nairobi, Mombasa and Kisumu.

The county boss has however blamed his poor performance on unnamed cartels whom he says are out to sabotage his operations.
