The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission CEO Ezra Chiloba has spoken about his Christianity life.

Chiloba has been on the lips of many Kenyans for the past few weeks due to his top job at the electoral body.

He is a man that is loved and hated in the same measure.

The IEBC CEO was brought up in a Christian family and even at some point in his life he was a church elder.

During an interview with the Business Daily, Chiloba revealed he is an Adventist.

“I was brought up an Adventist and I grew up in church for a long time. While at the University of Nairobi, we the youth, used to have a congregation at the university so that’s where the title elder came,” said Chiloba.

“I was one of the leaders. Now I’m not a church elder. Of course I used to be at Lavington SDA where I was engaged actively in church,” he added.

The IEBC boss further noted that his moral compass in life is faith.

“I try to balance the sense of rational thinking and faith and faith remains my moral compass in life.”
