Chama Cha Mashinani (CCM) party leader Isaac Ruto says he is still contemplating on whether to join the National Super Alliance (Nasa), or not.
He said CCM is all about people's needs, and would not join any coalition that is yet to provide their manifesto.
"I have not joined Nasa. Our ideas look similar, but I still need more than what they have, so as to join them. They have showed me 46 per cent of what they plan for Kenyans after August elections, but I need more than that,'' said the Bomet governor.
Speaking during an interview on a local television station, alongside governors Jackson Mandago (Uasin Gishu County) of Jubilee, and John Mruttu (Taita Taveta) of ODM, Ruto said he was never in Jubilee.
According too him, his was a happy man in Deputy president William Ruto's URP, before it merged to form Jubilee.
"I have never been in Jubilee, and will never be. Our ideologies are very different, and I advice anyone in that party, to leave as soon as possible,'' he said, Wednesday evening.
Nasa has been wooing Ruto to join them, so as to win many of the South Rift votes.
The CCM boss seeks a re-election in August 8, and will battle it out with Jubilee's Sotik MP and National Assembly Deputy Speaker, Joyce Laboso.
