Kisii county Women Representative Mary Otara has denied allegations that she was among the group that visited State House last week.
Otara said she is still in ODM and she supports unity in Kisii County but she never visited State House the way others claim.
Addressing the press in Kisii town, Otara urged Kisii county residents to support democracy in the county by electing good leaders who can bring development changes in the county.
“I heard others say that I was among the group that visited State House that is false information. I want to assure Kisii county residents I was not among them,” said Otara.
Otara also said she has set aside Sh2m from her affirmative action fund kitty to provide sanitary towels to three secondary schools in every ward in Kisii county to help girls from missing their school classes during their menstrual period.
She also promised to donate water tanks to various schools in Kisii County soon.
