Nobody has been fired. To say I was fired is far from the truth. This is part of my first job at the Defence Forces. I'm going for career progression," he said.Nyangweso also defended the team's disastrous campaign in the recently concluded 2017 season that saw them finish a distant seventh saying they were going through transition."The club was undergoing some kind of transition and it will take time for results to be felt. I will not say my time at the club will be classified as a failure," he added. This is the second time the experienced coach was handling the soldiers after a successful stint in 2010 where he guided them to the league title. He was however fired a season later over poor results. On Thursday, a statement from the club stated that Nyangweso had been redeployed to other military duties and hia place taken by former player Danston Waudo on an interim basis.
