Machakos deputy governor Bernard Kuala has refuted claims that he was sent by the governor to represent him in the wiper meeting in Machakos town.
Speaking in Mulu Mutisya garden today Kuala said that he was not in a position to represent the governor since he didn't send him and has not communicated to him about it.
The deputy governor said that he has heard in the media the governor claiming he will send him but he has not done so.
"Not at all, the governor has not sent me as he claimed in the media unless he changed plans. Makueni senator Mutula Kilonzo junior who was present said that Governor Mutua was invited to the meeting and he is the only one who knows his reasons for not being present," he said.
This comes a day after Machakos county governor said that he won't attend the Wipers meeting since he was not invited but he will send his deputy.
