Speaking to NTV on Sunday, the former Gatanga lawmaker absolved president Uhuru Kenyatta from his nomination woes and instead pointed accusing fingers at individuals whom he said are scheming for the 2022 polls.
"I did not lose in the primaries. The whole exercise was a sham and I was fixed by cartels who are keen on the 2022 polls.II don't think if the president had a hand in this,"he said. The former assistant minister was floored by Nairobi senator in the quest for the Jubilee's party ticket and will now vie as an independent candidate.
Kenneth however expressed optimism that he would trounce Sonko and incumbent Evans Kidero in the August 8 polls.
