A principal from one school in Masii, Mwala sub-county Machakos county was arrested today by police for allegedly raping a form three student from the school.
Confirming the incident Mwala OCPD Henry Kimathi said that the suspect committed the act on April 4, 2015 in his office after summoning the student.
The officer also said that thorough investigations into the case.
In an interview with the suspect before he was arrested, he said that this was just an accusation to set him up so as to lose his position in the school.
His juniors, however, refused to comment on the issue.
"This is a set up to destroy my career and remove me in my office," lamented the estranged teacher.
The suspect is being held at Masii police station as he awaits to appear before the court on Friday.
