NASA co-principal Kalonzo Musyoka claims that he was put under house moments to Raila Odinga's swearing-in.

Together with Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula, the trio claimed that they were held up in undisclosed location by the police hours to the event.

"It is now clear we met yesterday and Raila did not sleep in his home but I had to spend a night at my home. My security was revoked very early in the morning.

"At around 11am I spoke to journalists and after that, without our bodyguards, we were held by the police in a house and that is what happened," said Kalonzo in an audio that has gone viral.

But in a quick rejoinder, police spokesman Charles Owino has refuted the claims insisting that Kalonzo's answer was political.

"It is not true he was under house arrest. That was a political question and Kalonzo has given you a political answer,' he said.

The three were thrown to a limbo with NASA supporters accusing them of betraying Raila moments to the big day.
