Nyaribari Chache MP Richard Tong'i has said that he will not challenge any aspirant in court if he loses in 2017 elections.

Speaking at his home on Wednesday morning, Tong'i said that aspirant should be sure of the seat if only they sell their manifestos and win the votes of the people.

"I will not move to court to challenge any aspirant who will win the 2017 MP seat in the constituency. Everyone should go to the people and seek support to be elected," said Tong'i.

"My good relationship with the people will enable me win votes in 2017. Aspirants should seek support from locals as well. I do not wish also to be challenged in court that I have won elections with malpractices. Everyone should accept defeat in the coming elections," he added.

He said that he is lying strategies to have a good campaigning team that will enable him gain more votes from the people.
