Hassan Joho insists that he will be in ballot paper despite tribulations over alleged forging of academic papers he is facing.

The firebrand Mombasa governor recorded a statement with CID on Wednesday and seized the opportunity to take yet another swipe on President Uhuru Kenyatta’s administration.

Both Criminal Investigating Department and Kenya Revenue Authority are investigating Mr. Joho over alleged forgery and tax evasion.

Moments after recording a statement at CID, Joho blamed his tribulations on Kenyatta adding that he was sure of being on ballot paper come August.

“I want to tell Uhuru that no amount of intimidation can stop me from achieving what I want. He knows that he is fighting a fake war but God shall reward him,” said Joho.

The ODM Deputy Leader added: “I will not fight him back but as long as I am a live, I will be on ballot. Kenyans will teach him a lesson in August.’

Mombasa streets were earlier flooded by hundreds of opposition supporters who rebuked Jubilee administration on what they termed us ‘unnecessary’ intimidation targeting their Governor.

Also, Joho insisted the region will vote ODM leader Raila Odinga adding that Jubilee had no place in coastal region.
