Speaking at KTN's Jeff Koinange show on Wednesday night, Maalim said Duale is only known in Nairobi but has abandoned his electorate ever since his election.

"I assure you that Aden Duale has lost his fame in Garissa. He won't be re-elected as he has no development record for his electorate," said Maalim.

He said Duale is hardly in his constituency but is busy in other places and there is nothing new that he has brought forth since he was elected in.

The former deputy Speaker said Duale risks staying in the political cold if he doesn't decamp from Jubilee and support Cord since the latter will win the elections.

"Its no doubt that Jubilee has frustrated Kenyans. Cord is more prepared to take over next year and Duale should reconsider his support to remain politically relevant," added the former deputy speaker.

He was speaking alongside lawyer Edwin Sifuna who had endorsed himself as the ODM secretary general following Ababu Namwamba's resignation.
