Speaking in the Soweto area of Kayole on Saturday, Sakaja said that Kidero has nothing to offer to Nairobians since for the last 4 years in office the lives of people of Nairobi have not improved.

"Kidero promised to change lives of people living in the slums of Nairobi. Until today, nothing has been done by his government. I am ready and confident that I will unseat him in 2017 elections," stated Sakaja.

The nominated MP said that Kidero's government has been harassing business people, grabbing public property and increased crime, major concerns he said  the county government has failed to address.

"It's time for me to work on building a better Nairobi and in the process help the people of Nairobi enjoy devolution,” added Sakaja.
