Kisii county governor aspirant, Manson Nyamweya, has vowed to oust the incumbent governor James Ongwae in the coming polls.
Nyamweya who will not be defending his South Mugirango Mp seat, said that he is ready for the Kisii county top job citing that Ongwae has achieved too little for the past 4 years in office.
Nyamweya who decamped from ODM to KNC was speaking to journalists in Kisii town.
"I have the energy to drive my campaigns. I faced a bigger challenge in the 2010 by-election when the entire government campaigned against me and I won,” he said as quoted by the star.
He said his good track record will enable him clinch the county top seat.
"All roads and schools in my constituency have been improved. I have the potential to lead the Kisii county locals", he noted.
He accused governor Ongwae of looting development money that was sent from the National government.
