James Orengo has yet again warned that he will single handedly deal with Jubilee administration adding that President Uhuru Kenyatta is scared of Governor Hassan Joho’s growing political influence.
The Mombasa county boss was grilled on Wednesday at CID headquarters in Mombasa over alleged forged academic papers.
And in a fierce statement to thousands of ODM supporters who had flanked Joho, Orengo said he would use all legal means to stop ‘illegal’ intimidation of Mr. Joho by the state.
“Uhuru knows that he is using powers negatively instead of focusing on real issues affecting people. He has started a war that I will easily win in corridors of power,” said the veteran lawyer.
The Siaya Senator added: “Uhuru should use state machineries in fighting corruption and other vices that affects the nation. If he thinks forging claims to intimidate Joho, our legal team shall handle him. Joho is innocent and is only being witch hunted.
Joho, who is also ODM deputy leader, has been at loggerheads with President Kenyatta and at some point he had his security details withdrawn by the state.
Earlier in the streets of Mombasa, angry ODM supporters were seen chanting anti-Jubilee slogans insisting that Uhuru’s regime will crumble in August.
