With less than 10 days remaining for the Supreme Court to make a landmark rulling on the Presidential petition which has been filed by NASA coalition, President Uhuru Kenyatta is confident that the apex court will uphold his victory.
NASA petition which has been filed by presidential candidate Raila Odinga and his running mate Kalonzo Musyoka is seeking to nullify Uhuru's win which they say is not legitimate.
But while speaking on Tuesday during Mzee Jomo Kenyatta's 39th anniversary, a confident-talking Uhuru said that they will win the court case.
"God willing, I'm confident that we will win this court case so that we can countinue doing the work we have started," Uhuru said.
In his earlier address, Deputy President William Ruto asked Kenyans to embrace peace even as they wait for the court to make a ruling on the petition.
A decision by the Justice David Maraga-led court to dismiss NASA petirion will pave way for the swearing in of the duo for their second and final term.
