Nairobi governor Mike Sonko has vowed to ensure that no Nairobian lives in wanting environments while he serves as governor.
Speaking on Monday, the governor said that he had promised improved living conditions to Nairobians of low income and that he was never going to abandon that course.
He said he was working in conjunction with the County Integrated Development Plan (CIDP) and the county's Integrated Urban Development Master Plan to realise the same.
"The county is in the process of ensuring compliance with County Integrated Development Plan (CIDP) and the Nairobi Integrated Urban Development Master Plan (NIUPLAN) as well as providing affordable houses for low-income earners," he said.
"In realigning with my manifesto during the campaign period I will ensure no Nairobian lives in squalor. Service delivery to all," he said.
