National Assembly Majority leader Aden Duale has attacked "desperate" Farah Maalim for linking IEBC to political unfairness in the run up to August polls.
The Garissa Town MP said that his rival has already panicked and was "loitering in the streets of Nairobi" blaming IEBC.
"IEBC will not help failed, rural political rejects," he wrote on Twitter, further saying that the former Deputy Speaker did not defend his Lagdera seat in the 2013 polls.
"You ran as a senator but lost by over 25,000 votes to the respected Yusuf Haji," the incumbent said.
He said he will beat his rival who has been accusing IEBC of favouring him in the race for Garissa Township MP.
"In August, we shall dig your political grave by sending you back to Lagdera," Duale wrote on Saturday.
Duale is a member of the ruling Jubilee Party while Maalim hails from the NASA Opposition outfit.
