Speaking on Sunday evening when he visited the family the late John Ouru who was a 4th-year student at Kenyatta university, he said that the residents have been undergoing tough times when such problems arise and there is a need to ensure that a permanent solution is found for the same.

The MP regretted that many families from his area were unable to have insurances, therefore, the kitty will be beneficial to them and above all give the affected family humble time as they mourn their loved ones.

“I have been in office for the last three years and I have been trying to come up with a formula that will ease up the death situations in the area and I have finally known what to do,” he added.

This comes barely a month after the MP also promised to give vans that will help the families transport the bodies of their loved ones.
