The MP said the visit will be aimed at cementing the relationship between the Coastal leaders and the Jubilee government.

Addressing residents in Likoni, Mwahima said leaders from various regions had also shown commitment in working with the government, a move he said indicates that Jubilee was the winning team.

"No one likes to lose in perennial series. Why would we want to go in the opposite direction yet most of the leaders in the country have shown interest in winning,” said Mwahima.

Mwahima, who decamped from Cord, said after he met President Kenyatta, he promised to mobilise all Coastal leaders to pay him a visit so as to discuss development agendas in the county.

This comes at a time when major political shifts have been witnessed in the country with President Kenyatta hosting leaders from different regions including Western, Meru and Kisii Counties at State House.
