In an interview on Milele Radio on Thursday, the leader said he is fully committed towards delivering in his pre-election pledges as he seeks to leave a legacy as the best rated politician.

This, he said, is the reason behind his vigorous and speedy development in the county adding that he will do the same once his presidential bid for 2022 sails through.

''I am doing everything I can to better my people's lives, my leadership has in 5 years achieved what was never achieved since independence. I want to leave a legacy as the best leader Kenya ever had,'' Mutua said.

Mutua who, however, acknowledged that his leadership is not appeasing to all, promised to transform the county and the country beyond recognition should he succeed in occupying the top post.

''I know that there is a group of people out there who are not happy with my operations, especially fellow politicians, but I am committed to my job and will transform the county into one of the Western nations,'' added Mutua.

The Maendeleo Chapchap Party leader is likely to vie on his party ticket come the 2022 elections.
