President Uhuru Kenyatta has maintained that he will not share power with Opposition coalition NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga should there be no elections on October 26.

Speaking in Kakamega over the weekend, Uhuru exuded confidence that he would emerge victorious during the forthcoming repeat polls.

“We will not accept a Grand Coalition Government. It will never happen, Raila should just be ready for defeat,” the president said.

He noted that he will continue serving as Head of State should electoral agency IEBC fail to conduct the repeat elections as directed by the Supreme Court.

“I will continue to serve as the president until a new president is elected and sworn in. There is nothing like care taker Government,” he remarked.

The Head of State further accused NASA of frustrating preparations for the polls, asserting that the Opposition is not ready for elections.
