Two County Executive Secretaries who were sacked by Governor Jack Ranguma reacted with shock to the news of their sacking.
Eng Vincent Kodera, who was in Roads, and Prof Barack Abonyo, who was in the Water docket said they just heard about their sacking through the media.
Prof Abonyo said the Governor has not informed them that they have been sacked.
Speaking to journalists, Abonyo said he was shocked as he has performed well in his docket despite challenges, adding that it unfair for the Governor to say he was inefficient.
Eng Kodera too expressed shock, but said he was confident enough that he did his job well in the county, adding that he has done several roads that have opened up the county.
He however said he will take the Kisumu Governor to Court for implying that he was incompetent in his duties.
Kodera also emphasized that he will not wish to work again in the county of Kisumu under the leadership of Jack Ranguma.
“I wish Kisumu county residents well but for personal reasons, am not willing to work again with Jack Ranguma,” he said.
He noted that he had not received development funds for 2014/2015 financial year, yet they are expected to work and deliver.
