[Photo/NairobiNews]Embakasi East Member of Parliament Babu Owino has vowed that he will not offer his apologies to anyone for allegedly insulting President Uhuru Kenyatta during a National Super Alliance (NASA) rally in Nairobi on Sunday. This is despite a section of Kenyans calling on him to apogise after reports indicated Owino used unpleasant words to refer to the president. However, the defiant ODM legislator says he did not mention a name of any president during his address noting that he will never abuse anybody."I will not apologise to anyone because I called nobody’s name during my yesterday’s address. We have so many presidents in Kenya, from the President of sonu to all presidents of students union in Kenya,President of the Supreme Court,President of Youth senate and many more," wrote the former SONU president on his Facebook page, Monday."However I will stick to objective politics and will never abuse anybody.Let my brothers and sisters from the kikuyu nation know that I did not abuse their president. One kenya one nation.Lastly in law calling someone a mtoto wa umbwa(a puppy) is not an abuse.God bless Kenya.Babu Owino," he added.
