President Uhuru Kenyatta has said nothing will distract him from his determination to transform the lives of Kenyans and move the country forward.
The President assured that he will work tirelessly to ensure the development momentum the country has attained is not slowed down by the rhetoric and divisive politics of the opposition, noting that the Jubilee government has implemented development projects in all parts of the country.
“Our main focus is to make Kenya a better place than we found it,” President Kenyatta said.
The President was speaking at PCEA Kimunyu Church where he presided over the ground breaking ceremony of the proposed Thiririka Presbytery office complex in Kiambu County.
He urged Kenyans not to be anxious about next year’s election but instead asked those who have not registered as voters to do so in order to exercise their democratic right when the time comes.
Speaking at the service, President Kenyatta extolled family values, noting that they were the foundation of a successful nation.
He also thanked Kenyans for praying for him and the country, saying their prayers helped him overcome the International Criminal Court case.
