Nyaribari Chache Member of Parliament Richard Tong’i has said he is not looking into decamping Ford people for another party but will ensure the party regains its popularity in Kisii County.
Speaking at Irondi area in his constituency on Monday evening the MP said though he has been approached by various party leaders to decamp the party he is not willing to do so as the party made him what he is today.
“Ford people is a party to watch come 2017 as its one of the biggest party in the region and we expect to clinch the top county seat easily as we are looking into getting more members of parliament from the regions using the party,” he added.
The legislator also called those looking into vying for various seats in Kisii County to ensure that they join the party for them to easily get through.
Toni's is among the few MPs in parliament who were elected using the party which recently hinted joining Jubilee party.
